Permit Fees

 

Fees under $200 can be paid online by using a credit or debit card with a $2.75 credit card authorization fee. Please call Winchester City Hall if you would like to make a payment online.

$1,001.00 to $50,000

$15.00 for the first $1,000.00 plus $5.00 for each additional $1,000.00 to and including $50,000.00

$50,001.00 to $100,000.00

$260.00 for the first $50,000.00 plus $4.00 for each additional $1,000.00 to and including $100,000.00

$100,001.00 to $500,000.00

$460.00 for the first $100,000.00 plus $3.00 for each additional $1,000.00 to and including $500,000.00

$500,001.00 and up

$1,660.00 for the first $500,000.00 plus $2.00 for each $1,000.00 or fraction thereof

To calculate the valuation of a new single family dwelling:

Square footage of the structure multiplied by $120. Answer is the total valuation of the structure. Then use the chart above to figure your permit cost.
