Zoning Ordinance

HISTORY

Winchester first adopted zoning regulations in 1967 to promote the health, safety, morals and welfare of its citizens through regulation of the use of land within the corporate limits.  In 1980, the current zoning ordinance was adopted and has since been amended 49 times to date.
