The Winchester Municipal Airport is owned by the City of Winchester and is a general avaition airport that serves not only the city of Winchester, but other nearby communities.

Zachary Colescott is currently the Airport Manager of the Winchester Municipal Airport, a position he has held since 2010. Prior to that, his work experience includes managing the airport in Leadville, CO (which holds the title as the highest elevation airport in North America) and as an Account Manager with CAE Aviation Training in Denver, CO. Originally from Indiana, Zachary attended Indiana State University where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Administration. He also holds a commercial pilot certificate with multi-engine & instrument privileges, with which he has accumulated over 1,800 hours of total flight time so far in various aircraft.

Hours of Operation:

  • CST 0800-1800 during Daylight Saving Time
  • CST 0800-1700 for the rest of the year
