Deanna Sidley

She has served so many and so has her business.

Paradise Travel has been a local business to Winchester for over 20 years.  She has provided so much knowledge and services to countless families - whether it was their dream vacation in a foreign country or just getting to a family member in need.  I couldn’t even count the number of weekends she has dropped everything to help someone in need - taking precious time away from her family.

She has also served on the Franklin County Fair Build for multiple years and has donated countless hours to make it the best it can be.  I’ve seen first hand all she has done for pageants, mud volleyball tournaments, and other  events relating to the city of Winchester.

She has also volunteered as a cheerleading coach for almost 30 years.  Before I was even eligible to cheer, she made a path for me and countless others.  She coached Pop Warner/Pee Wee Cheerleading and donated all of her time and not to mention money for countless girls who’s family couldn’t always afford dues/concessions.  Even when I went on to Jr High Cheerleading, she served as the Director and helped teams/kids be better.

She even coached Middle School Cheerleading for multiple years, without pay or recognition.  This is a huge obligation and requires upwards of  10-15 hours a week.  She took these teams so far at camp winning pretty much any award that was possible - even beating out high school squads for the best team at camp.

On top of everything else she’s done with her business and volunteering, I literally could not ask for a better mother.  I wouldn’t be the person I am today or have the careers I’ve had without my mother guiding me through my life.  She has been and still is a wonderful role model for me and countless friends that look to her as their own mom.

I’m a better person for having her in my life and Winchester is a better place for having her there.  She has so much passion for Winchester and it’s inspiring to see!
