Brenda Long

I can't think of many more deserving than her! She has spent countless hours volunteering her time to many local organizations in Winchester. Such as the Franklin County Jaycee's, And most recently the FC Kiwanis Club. She has also volunteered her time and energy toward many events (some associated with these clubs) such as The Dogwood Festival, Beauty Pageants, High on the Hog, Music by the Lake, and I'm sure many other events that I've not listed.

She was the daughter of a local business man (Loyd Boswell, Construction Company)  She has been a local business owner for many years. TJ's Liquor and Wine(30years) Easy Stop Market, and B&B Tobacco Express, as well as helped her children get their local businesses up and running. (Hair Candy, and Dirty South BBQ Company) Her and my dad were a big part of getting Dry Creek Beach up and running many years ago, they also donated the land where the stage is downtown for people to enjoy! She has always from the time I can remember been so involved with the community!

As for just an all around person I can't say enough (and I'm sure everyone would agree) she's the best! Always a small on her face, she's always willing to help others with anything they could possibly need!
