Larry Baker (answers all phone calls and complaints, radio dispatch, purchasing for all Public Works departments and maintains records and reports directly to the Public Works Director)

FOREMAN:
Kenneth Hughes (responsible for building maintenance, construction crews, building and maintenance and roadway crews and reports directly to the Public Works Director)



CONSTRUCTION/MAINTENANCE CREW:
David Watson (skilled laborer, carpentry, masonry, concrete and operator)

Jimmy Taylor (skilled labor, carpentry, building maintenance, masonry, concrete)

Jerry Johns (semi-skilled labor, building maintenance and construction, and fill in for all service related jobs)

Kenny Wooten (semi-skilled laborer, truck driver, and fills in for other related jobs as required)

ALL MEMBERS OF THIS CREW ARE REQUIRED TO PERFORM BUILDING MAINTENANCE, CONSTRUCTION AND ROADWAY MAINTENANCE AND, CONSTRUCTION AND DRAINAGE MAINTENANCE.



MOTORPOOL:
Lester Sisk (mechanic, welder, operator) This employee performs and oversees work performed on heavy equipment and the city's fleet of trucks and automobiles of which includes servicing and maintenance to the city's police vehicles. Performs fabrication work as required.

Robert Caldwell (mechanic's helper) This employee assists with the repair to heavy equipment, automobiles and, trucks. Performs some welding and fabrication, as well as, keeps records and schedules for vehicle maintenance.



STREET DEPARTMENT:
Anthony Fanning (truck driver/laborer)
Joe Sisk (truck driver/laborer)
(Two man crew with the following responsibilities: Mondays -junk collection, Tuesday through Friday - Brush collection, Alternate Wednesdays - recycling collection, responsible for one half of the city's cleaning drainage structures and ditches)


Charles Jackson (truck driver/laborer)
Homer Scott (truck driver/laborer)
(Two-man crew with the responsibility of operating year around brush pick up and chipper truck)


Jerry Sharp (tractor mower operator)
(Responsible for seasonal mowing of right-of-ways, over grown lots and city owned properties, also operates the seasonal leaf truck)

Mike Clark (tractor mower operator)
(Responsible for seasonal mowing of right-of-ways, over grown lots and city owned properties. Also operates the seasonal leaf truck)

Larry Taylor (laborer)
Phillip Compton (laborer)
Stacy Furgenson (laborer)
(Three man crew whose responsibilities are hand mowing and edging all right-of-ways, lots, road edges and sidewalks that are not accessible by tractors, collects and bags leaves, act as flagmen for construction and maintenance crews and, also responsible for commercial cardboard recycling collection, other duties include downtown clean up and assisting with City Beautification projects)

Pete Yates (sweeper operator)
(Sweeps all streets within city limits with curb and gutter, cleans all sidewalks within a four block area of the square, maintains, replaces and helps make all street signs within the city)



CEMETARY DEPARTMENT:
Stacy Fergerson (operator/laborer)
Jason Taylor (operator/laborer)
Raymond Pruitt (operator/laborer)
(Three man crew responsible for the maintenance and care of the City's three cemeteries and the city's leaf pick up program)



ANIMAL CONTROL:
Jimmy Taylor (responsible for capture and care of animals in violation of the city's leash law ordinance)
