Southern Tennessee Plunge Marathon and Half Marathon
Southern Tennessee Medical Center / Emerald Hodgson Hospital and the City of Winchester, TN proudly announce the inaugural running of the Southern Tennessee Plunge Marathon and Half Marathon on October 2, 2010 in Winchester, TN. This event is certified and sanctioned, making it a qualifying race for the Boston Marathon. The course runs through scenic countryside of southern middle Tennessee with majestic views of the Cumberland Mountains and beautiful Tim’s Ford Lake. Its elevation makes it ideal for a personal record.The Southern Tennessee Plunge benefits multiple local charities, including Volunteers in Medicine and the Prevention Coalition.
